Literary museum of Maxim Bogdanovich – is one of the most beautiful museums in the Belarusian capital. It is located in a two – story building (monument of urban architecture of the XIX century) in the Trinity suburb. Trinity Suburb – is an ancient area of Minsk on the left bank of the river Svislach. The main street of the suburbs was the Trinity, in the XIX century renamed the Alexander (now str. M. Bogdanovich). It is on this street was the house in which was born the Belarusian literature classics – Maksim Bogdanovich. Tragically, this house has not been preserved. Literary museum of Maxim Bogdanovich is located near this place.
Resolution on the establishment of the Literary Museum of Maxim Bogdanovich taken September 19, 1980. From 1 April 1981 the museum began to act as a cultural institution. A group of artists and museum employees work creatively to create the museum, which was opened to the public December 8, 1991 for the 100th anniversary of Maksim Bogdanovich. In the house, which is devoid of the memorial, with the help of exhibits and artistic techniques, recreated a unique poetic world of the poet and his way of life.
